There’s ignorance everywhere. I smell it in the air. Wisdom which was held in high esteem has now been trampled underfoot by man. He has become wise in his own eyes, thereby transgressing immutable Laws decreed by the Invisible Benevolent Spirit, God. Man boasts about tomorrow not knowing what a day may bring forth. He complains severely whenever confronted with mishaps. There’s no moment’s pause for reflection and meditation.
Why do we worry about many things when we can’t explain nor understand such occurrences? Let me tell you this truth: If man’s ambitions, thoughts and actions doesn’t conform to/with the purpose and will of the Universal Mind, he’s only clowning about and sooner than later he will pay dearly for what he has done. Trust me!
Each day, our actions and experiences teach us valuable lessons so as to perfect us towards the ideal purpose of our existence: to again be one with God. But these lessons are taken lightly and in most cases not realized at all. Let me teach you some of the lessons:
• “As you sow; so shall you reap”- evil thoughts births pain and troubles, good intentions when fulfilled brings happiness and prosperity. You must do good.
• “There’s nothing new under the sun”- Events keep recurring. Therefore pause to meditate so as to make right choices. Don’t fear when mishaps come your way; they must come. They’re from of old and not new developments therefore cheer up.
• “Don’t worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble”- be more spiritually inclined then you’ll realize that our zeal in chasing earthly materials and wealth particularly through crude means and for wicked purposes, are after all a great vanity which is quickly passing away.
• “I will go forth as a lying spirit to confound the prophets so that they may deceive the king”- truth has been concealed from the masses, either in religion, business, government and other spheres of human affairs. Therefore, many people are ignorant and not knowing what they’re doing. Wars and some violent sports are master minded, sponsored and promoted and made to look entertaining, as if there are no side effects. Be a lover of truth and justice. And although many shall be your enemy, Heaven will remain your faithful friend.
Now, who on this earth can understand or explain what he/she encounters each day? I bet you there’s no one! Why did this and that happen? Was it to happen and so that was why it occurred? Or could there be other reasons? The simple answer I will give you is that no one knows, perhaps not even the mystically inclined. These are great questions man must always meditate on: Are what we do or encounter that which was/is to happen? Why do we delight in what we don’t want and fear to do but finding it difficult to fulfill that which we are all obligated to do?
Oh Lord God, eschew and expunge from our hearts the shrinking power of ignorance. Grant us wisdom and humility to discern right from wrong, light from darkness, that we may become Sons of God and heirs of Perfection. So mote it be.
After saying this short prayer, I assure you that there’s great hope. An age is coming when there will be no more ignorance but rather illumination of truth and godliness. Ignorance has fallen!
