AHOSA IS BORN

The fourth of August, Sunday, marked the birthing of a great association, AHOSA- Aim High Old Student Association, which was held at the School's premise in Chantan-Tabora. The event was graced by students from the 2007( first batch to complete), 2009 and 2013 year groups.Participants numbered thirteen including the head of school, Mr. Emmanuel Adi-Darko.The twelve students with him had much symbolic meaning- the twelve Disciples with Jesus Christ, a group on which the benefits the world is reaping now, centered on. "We're on the right course because an association which is primarily a network of people with diverse experiences, ideas and support, can come together as a unified force to unleash powers of the mind in achieving pragmatic results", a participant remarked. From a keen observation, students from Aim High Academy and in their respective stations in life, are recognized by three God-given energies- academic intelligence, hard work and commitment to service, and moral uprightness. The Association is therefore committed to procuring better infrastructure and or logistics for the school and other benefits be it in cash or in kind. Aim High Academy formerly called Mt. Calvary Int. School began in wooden structures. But with hard work and commitment to his vision, the head of school has been able to raise a much more comfortable and secure structure- a three storey building housing the various departments, from Nursery through to the Junior High level.Students who've completed are now in various S.H.S's and Tertiary institutions, pursuing careers in business, engineering, journalism, medicine, theology, among others. Every parent must note that bringing their wards to Aim High Academy is the better choice they could ever have made with respect to their children's education. The writer had been a student of the school completing in 2007 and now pursuing a BA in Communication Studies at the Ghana Institute of Journalism. How wonderful! The school is still young and with a more visionary leadership, studiousness on the part of students, and support from parents and other stakeholders, the future is very bright. I salute these friends of mine for their wisdom and selflessness: France Richard, Armah Gideon, Laryea Daniel, Narh Rejoice, Kumayi Prince, Bedu Bridget, Dordoe Noah, Forfoe Lydia, Banson Grace, among others.I'd great time with them and wish them all good health, great opportunities and the zeal to always excel in life. Great AHOSA(with slogan "We Stand To Build")has been formed.A new day has dawn, the beginning of great accomplishments. It is the Lord's doing and it's marvelous in our sight.CONGRATULATIONS!
