It happened in 2013 at Accra-Ghana where the two lived. Their compound house was clean and quiet at the time, with birds chirping melodious tunes in nearby trees.
The effect was a cool and romantic atmosphere. A perfect condition for her seduction. When she started her advances the young man was speechless for he was a novice to such engagements. But soon his feelings was activated and he got more interested that it boozed his mind.
He was in wonderland! Enjoying the love play with kisses and smooching. She also loved it and wanted it even more. So they got more close, turning each other, breaking few bottles around and messing up the room. But he did not knew her.
They finished in about thirty minutes being aware of the return of tenants. But it was memorable day for them. Now many days passed. Days became weeks and weeks into months. Then in the last month, December, our lady disappeared for almost a week. Where could she have gone to? To the police station. There she reported that a young man had raped her. It sounds puzzling and outrageous right? But that is what she said. And so the days ahead came with much pressure on the young man, fearing arrest and police interrogations. He had to wake up early and sneak into the cold dawn to school. At school he felt faint and sick. His worst fears had come true and the feeling and burden was awesomely cruel.
Many questions raced through his mind: What will my parents, friends, relatives and the public say since they perceived me to be a good boy? Will dad lose trust in me? What if my colleagues at school get to know? But I never slept with her so why the allegation? Oh my education and reputation is shattered!
There were no answers. Only heavy nightmares. And when the lady was sent to hospital for pregnancy test, he feared the more and prayed the Cosmic to intervene. It did intervene and the result was clean. There was no evidence to support her claim and so the case closed.
Afterwards mother and father sternly warned him never to act in such manner: "You're more educated than her and so why couldn't you find a girl at school? You must never do this or else..."
Our young man has kept his promise and is doing well at school. Everything has returned to normal and the young lady has been sent to her village. They have learnt some lessons. Lessons that will shape and inform their decisions and choices of partners or when in a relationship.
Ikemefuna, for that is his name, has vowed to fear women whether they are young or old. He will never underestimate them for they possess a power which according to him they can use to devise a man's downfall. "Temi nearly ruined my life and career but I escaped narrowly," he added.
This story therefore must serve as a moral discipline for the teens who want to experience early sexual activity. The truth is, it is unprofitable and only brings regret and disgrace. At the extreme one can become a vagabond through people or society's ridicule. So stay Safe and Please Don't try this.
