Access to tractor services and other farm inputs have been a major challenge confronting farmers in the Upper West Region. Most often either the cost of tractor service is too high for the farmers to afford or they get the service late. Masloc's decision  to assist the farmers to acquire the tractors is therefore seen as timely. The Regional Manager of Masloc Mr. Karim Dakura said, the tractors will enable the beneficiary farmers to expand their farms and also render service to other farmers. The Chief Executive Officer of Masloc Madam Sadina Tamakloe Attionue  encouraged the youth to develop  interest in the agricultural  sector by going  into farming
The out-going Deputy Regional Minister Mr. Abu Kansangbata commended Masloc for assisting  the farmers. Mr. Kansangbata said government will implement interventions that will make the agricultural sector attractive to the youth.
One of the beneficiary farmers Mr. Ahmed Dumah said the problems associated with access to tractor services in the districts will reduce. He appealed to Masloc to extend the services to other farmers.
