My Reflections - Inspired by the Spirit of God

....................................................................................................................................... You shouldn't at all, and in any way, threaten God by saying that "I have lost faith in You, and so I will not serve You anymore" when it happens that in your walk with Him, you suffered reproach or were afflicted with evil. First, know and understand that your threatening to stop serving Him does not change who He is. He is Himself God, the All-Sufficiency, and He remains as such forever. Second, know that there are the Four Living Creatures, the Twenty-Four Elders, and needless to mention, the Generals of Old and the myriads of Angels, all of whom are constantly and simultaneously announcing the Faithfulness, Power, Dominion, Beauty, Perfection, Holiness, Glory, Wisdom, Truth, Love, Peace,......... of God, the King of kings and Lord of lords; the I AM; the Ancient of Days; the Great Glory; the Undying One; ........... Their voices of faith and testimony about God will overpower, overshadow, annihilate,......your unbelief and your so-called threat. Repent you mortal man if you have reached that point or about to take such decision. Be inspired about what your fellow brethren in the Faith have gone through. For they, in spite of their grievous temptations and afflictions, are ardently serving God with fervour and humility. ..................................................................................................................................... A time will come, even very soon, when the Judgment of God will take a stand over his Mercy. When this happens, it shall be a terrifying moment indeed. You have your present moment to examine your ways, and be on the safe side before or when that dreadful 'Judgment' day of the Lord comes. ..................................................................................................................................... Verily, unless we are assisted, and interiorly instructed by God, we become lukewarm and dissolute. ..................................................................................................................................... The old enemy, satan, who is opposed to all that is good, does not cease to tempt, but day and night lays his dangerous traps to catch the unwary into his deceitful snares. "Watch and pray," says the Lord, "that you enter not into temptation" (Mt 26:41). ..................................................................................................................................... It is very sad to note how that, some people, are convinced that the rule of man will satisfy the desires of their heart. No! This will never happen. It is only God who can. He alone has the Will and Power to satisfy all of our desires, even more than we can ever imagine. It is for this reason my Pastor, Rev. Clifford Gadafi Kasim, calls Him 'Jehovah Overdo.' ..................................................................................................................................... On every occasion, enter, like Moses, into the tabernacle or the closet of your heart. There, consult the Lord and most earnestly implore the divine assistance. You will sometimes hear the divine answer, and will come back instructed about many things, present and future. ..................................................................................................................................... The Lord is the Sovereign Artist, who has left nothing disordered in all his work. Therefore take recourse in him, and your ways will be in perfect order. ..................................................................................................................................... You must be willing, for the love of God, to suffer all things, that is, labours and sorrows, temptations, vexations, anxieties, necessities, infirmities, injuries, detractions, reprehensions, humiliations, confusions, corrections and contempts. These things help to gain virtue; these try a novice of Christ; these obtain a heavenly crown. "I will give an eternal reward for this short labour, and infinite glory for this transitory confusion," says the Lord. ....................................................................................................................................... To drive out the forces of Satan, you have to be a lot stronger than Satan. You can only be stronger than Satan and his forces if you are on the side of Jesus in this battle. If you aren't on the side of Jesus, you are on the other side, and definitely a LOSER! Remember what Jesus said: “Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters (Luke 11:21-23). ....................................................................................................................................... Don Merritt of https://lifereference.wordpress.com made this profound revelation: In prayer, we ask for many things, but how often do we boldly ask for the Holy Spirit? How often do we ask for the Holy Spirit to lead us, to guide us, to rule in our lives…? The Holy Spirit will do all of these things and more if we ask Him to, and if we will get out of His way. There’s really only one thing I know of that He doesn’t do, and that is to force Himself on us. We need to ask and permit. ....................................................................................................................................... No one Knows the condition or the state in which he or she will die. Some people die in fornication. Others from drinking and smoking. Yet another from theft and violence. Some too depart from the world while in prayer. Other times while doing charity, or serving the cause of the Kingdom of God. These are contrary circumstances under which people depart from here; and these circumstances have consequencies in the hereafter, either unto life eternal in Heaven or unto damnation and torment in hell forever. Reflect on your present state, and where you will to go from here. ....................................................................................................................................... WHY SHOULD I SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE WILL BE GIVEN UNTO ME? The reason is simple. If you don't seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and rather you grow affection for inordinate things, or an affinity with pleasures of this world, it becomes difficult, very difficult for you to seek the higher life brought by God's Kingdom. You will become lukewarm. You will lose fervour and ardent zeal which should sustain you. On the other hand, if you seek first the Kingdom of God, which is within you and find it, although whatever you seek for in this life will be given unto you, you will soar above such inordinate possessions. They can't take a strong hold on you. For you know that they are but a passing shadow, drifting away quickly. This 'seeking first' is a Law in the spirit. Once you reach to it, the outcome is automatic! The evidence is all round us. Study the life of those who have renounced the world and its allurement and have cleaved to God. I'm talking about the life of devout men and women of God. They have sought first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and truly, the promise of the good things in life are chasing them to enjoy them. Indeed, they are enjoying it, but are also mindful of the higher and holy calling. .......................................................................................................................................
