The Devil hits hard at everyone, especially Christians, in three principal areas: the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life.
Satan has many products to sell to people in all these three areas of existential reality. He tempted the LORD in like manner but failed and was defeated. Satan has many devices to trap men to defile their bodies, their living sanctuary. We should look steadfastly on to Jesus, to be upheld by the power of his Word, to resist the devil. It's better to serve righteousness. And we know that faith in God and holiness to God begets power.
